Group Activities
Realizing the potential uniqueness of the Falls, the City of Buffalo offers special venues, hotels, restaurants, and parks all within the view of the Falls or within walking distance.
For one, the historic redeveloped Entertainment District along the waterfront of Lake Erie has a variety of outdoor activities. There are several water activities such as kayaking, water biking and stand-up paddleboard rentals. Buffalo River History Tours host the Harbor Queen and River Queen riverboats which can accommodate up to 145 guests.
Along Canalside, you can take yoga classes on the waterfront and once a week the city has organized the Slow Roll, a bike ride through the neighborhood. Those whose focus is art one can find that at the Albright-Knox Art Gallery. Its works include Frida Kahlo, Georgia O’Keefe, Andy Warhol, Pablo Picasso and many more well-known artists.

The Call of the Falls
The wonders of the world do indeed include Niagara Falls. Among the many opportunities to experience at the Falls are the Maid of the Mist which host group tours, the Cave of the Winds Hurricane Deck along Bridal Veil Falls, the Niagara Whirlpool, helicopter tours and an antique cable car traveling high above the Niagara River.
Dining
Picnic venues such as Queens Park is within sight of the Falls in Kingsbridge Park along Niagara Parkway has many tables for lunches.
A place to bring a family group to have a scrumptious meal is the Rainbow Café located inside the Sheraton at the Falls Hotel end where the group can enjoy a rain forest décor with wild animals, sounds of the jungle, nighttime moving skies and thunderstorms. The rooms were clean and if we needed anything all we had to do was ask. The location is great – outlet mall is a five minute walk. Loved the Restaurant for breakfast. Will definitely stay here again. Stayed August 2015, traveled with family.”
